BIRMINGHAM, Ohio, January 18, 2022 – Bettcher Industries, Inc. ("Bettcher"), a leading
developer and manufacturer of innovative machinery and automation solutions for the
food processing industry, announced today that Josh Stiever has been appointed
President of Bettcher. Mr. Stiever was most recently President of the Process Solutions
Group, a business unit within Bettcher, and joined the organization in April 2022. In his
new role, Mr. Stiever will oversee the businesses in the Bettcher portfolio, including the
Bettcher Tooling Group and the Process Solutions Group, and will report to Interim CEO
Kevin Layne. Bettcher is part of the food processing equipment automation platform
owned by KKR, which also includes Frontmatec, a leading full-line equipment supplier
and automation solutions provider.

Prior to joining Bettcher, Mr. Stiever was an executive with IDEX Corporation (NYSE:IEX)
where he was most recently the President of the company’s Viking Pump, Warren Rupp
and Wrightflow Technologies businesses. Before IDEX, he held a number of roles at The
Marmon Group and at Illinois Tool Works (NYSE:ITW).
